Cryptic Sculpture Garden in Oslo
A public park in Oslo hosts a very unusual sculpture garden. Official explanation is that the artist wanted to show the human condition and humanity in various forms of common interaction. Some of the more notable sculptures being the pieces that seem to depict reptiles taunting or consuming humans.Then there is the human pillar, which could be seen as the power of the elites, the pillar, being built on the backs of humanity. There is a large man kicking and throwing babies, scenes of unwanted sexual advances...just a lot of weird stuff going on. The garden has a geometric design with a zodiac sculpture positioned front and center.
